ga dscussione2Members of CACINA, (bishops, clergy, and lay people), gathered again at St. Mary of Providence Center, a Catholic retreat house, to conduct the business of the national church in May 2014. The assembly, a joint session of the College of Bishops and the House of Delegates (HOD), focused on ratifying the budget and on how to reach out to those seeking a progressive Catholic church.

Parishes took turns arranging the liturgy and music for the morning masses, and evening prayers were led by members of the parishes and missions of CACINA. The 2014 General Assembly was a time of prayer, work, and community, and participants were truly blessed to be a part of it.
